CVI is a vascular condition which compromises venous return, ultimately overloading the lymphatic system. The resulting lymphedema can require special considerations for support garments. The CVI patient often has very thin, fragile skin and can present with open, non-healing wounds. They are rarely able to tolerate regular daytime compression garments. Donning and doffing of any garment can be difficult and may damage or cause sheering of the skin. Ease of donning and easy access to wound dressings are essential. The JoViPak ADVI is designed to address the unique challenges facing the CVI patient. These soft, noninvasive garments come with low Indention Load Deflection foam and can be worn around the clock, giving patients freedom to move their ankles and allowing them to continue wearing their daytime walking shoes, as exercise is essential for their recovery.

Because the JoViPak ADVI is designed to address the unique challenges facing the CVI patient these soft, noninvasive garments can be worn around the clock, giving patients freedom to move their ankles and allowing them to continue wearing their daytime walking shoes as exercise is essential for their recovery. Case histories of patients who have used these garments show generalized improvement in the condition of lower leg tissue.
